2024

Klaus B.  (Klaus Bendtsen) was born in Denmark in the ´60s.  He grew up in the Danish music scene with his brother Peter.  They formed their first band “Octopus” in the middle of the seventies.

Greatly influenced by the Danish and foreign rock scene, Klaus developed as a guitarist, singer and song-writer inspired by artists like Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer , Led Zeppelin and the Beatles, Klaus developed a bluesy melodic style, where he prioritised melody, and, even more so, nerve in his compositions.

In the mid-90’s he formed Brit-Pop band “The Prunes” with, amongst others, drummer Peter Stokkebye, and they released on their own label the album “Secret Garden” produced by Danish producer Kim Sagild.  The album contained the radio hit “Hill Song”.  In 2005 he formed the duo “WAT” with singer-songwriter Jesper Johnsson, and they recorded 12 songs together.  The Danish singer, songwriter and producer Stig Kreutzfeldt recommended 2 of Klaus’ songs – “She’s so pretty” and ”Love you in stereo” - for Annette Heick’s debut album ”Right Time”.  Klaus is still developing, both as a composer, guitarist, singer and as producer.
